18 Reasons — San Francisco, CA — January 2016
As the sun falls below the horizon, the sky illuminates with a particular glow, radiating to the ground below. Not just yellows and oranges, but an array of purples and pinks, available now for just a limited time. We wander the sands of the beach, the white noise of the waves pushing in and back out again. The cliffs hanging to our side, a gradient of earth, holding us here.
We take pause and watch. There is power here, in that glow, in these sands, the movement of the water and wind, all together at once. I see things more clearly here.
